The 106st Congress of the Japanese Society of Legal Medicine was held in Nagoya city, Aichi prefecture. In the Student Research Presentation, Mr. Susumu Kobayashi who was enrolled in our laboratory as graduate school student received the Excellent Award.

Department of Forensic Medicine, Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo hosted a lecture on infection control in the autopsy room by Prof. Kurt B Nolte, USA forensic scientist (Chief Medical Investigator and Professor of University of New Mexico).
Education and Research Center of Legal Medicine, Chiba University hosted the international exchange seminar which is held once every 1-2 years.
